A Jeweler’s Art offers a variety of classes. The classes are taught by the gallery owner, Sheridan Conrad, who has been a jeweler for over thirty five years. Her training is academic with a M.Ed. and is NBCT. She has worked in the jewelry industry where she had GIA training. She teaches using professional tools in which all tools and materials are provided in the small classes. All class sizes are small and need at least 2 attendees to make. For classes less than 2 attendees, there will be an additional charge.

Precious Metal Clay (PMC)
PMC Basic is a prerequisite for all of my PMC classes. Precious Metal Clay is a clay-like compound of sterling silver (could be other metals, we use sterling in PMC classes). The clay texture allows it to be easily transformed, given texture and is a fun place to start if you are interested in jewelry making. These classes are complete with one class on Sunday afternoons from 1-4pm.

I offer many other types of classes as well. I add new classes with interest in specific topics, so please let me know if there is something you are interested in learning to create! These classes are two-week classes typically on concurrent Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 pm.
