Sheridan Conrad is the owner of A Jeweler’s Art. She is a local artist with her roots firmly established in Oklahoma City, her hometown. Her introduction to metal smithing was in college. After completing her university studies she entered the jewelry industry and acquired formal training with the Gemological Institute of America, where she developed the skills to buy, grade, and appraise diamonds and other gemstones.
At the same time Sheridan began creating original watercolor designs and was a consulting jeweler. She also entered several design contests and won a number of awards for her original compositions.
Sheridan has her Masters of Education in art and jewelry, and taught jewelry in college as an adjunct professor. She obtained her National Board Certification in art education, and is currently teaching private and group classes in her own studio. Click here for class times and descriptions. She also shows the gallery for Paseo First Fridays and often features local artists for these events.
